USTaxPR is designed for non-citizens: green card holders, visa holders, and nonresidents. U.S. citizens use different filing rules and can use standard tax software like TurboTax or FreeTaxUSA.

💡 Not sure? If you were born abroad and later naturalized, you ARE a citizen. If you only have a green card (Form I-551), you are NOT a citizen — you’re a permanent resident.
